Jim Ritchie joined Holcombe Bomar, P.A. in 2006. From 2000 through 2008, Jim served as a South Carolina Senator for Spartanburg, Greenville and Union counties. After only two years of service, Sen. Ritchie was selected in 2002 by his peers as one of the Ten Most Effective Senators in South Carolina. In 2004, he was named Majority Whip, and was also presented with the Palmetto Leadership Award for his commitment to individual liberty, free enterprise and limited government.

He is also a Liberty Fellow, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Palmetto Conservation Foundation, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts and the Orthopedic Research Foundation of the Carolinas.
